Wired beans was/ is a favourite project. Exploring the tactility of wire, my friend, Sabrina Mears Allen took up wiring during lockdown. Beginning with jewellery and moving onto mobiles, Calder-esk, they hang in time. For the site I wanted to capture the wires personality, something lost in photographs - in real life they come alive etc. Using Cinema 4d for the first time, hanging animations were created, attempted. Web residencies have interested me for a while so maybe the inspiration was here, although, things that move are always more attractive.
